Nail diameter significantly impacts stability in combined plate-nail constructs used for fixation of supracondylar distal femur fractures

Abstract: Objectives: Plate-nail (PN) combinations have been described for fixation of supracondylar distal femur fractures. Small diameter retrograde intramedullary nails (rIMN) are commonly used.
