Abstract:Biodegradable and edible electronics will need electronic components for signal modulation and wireless communication; hence, non-linear and high frequency components will be required. Here, a method to fabricate nanodiodes on isomalt (a sugar substitute) substrates is reported. Coplanar electrodes of Al and Au with nanogap separation were fabricated on top of isomalt through design of an adhesion lithography process specifically to accommodate the low melting point and high solubility of the substrate. Latera… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
