Nanoencapsulation of quercetin and resveratrol into elastic liposomes

Abstract: Based on the fact that quercetin (QUE) and resveratrol (RES) induce a synergic inhibition of the adipogenesis and increase apoptosis in adipocytes, and that sodium deoxycholate (SDC) has necrotic effects, the nanoencapsulation of QUE and RES into SDC-elastic liposomes is proposed as a new approach for dissolving the subcutaneous fat. The concentration of constituents and the effect of the drug incorporation into cyclodextrin inclusion complexes on the stability of QUE/RES-loaded liposomes were studied. The bes… Show more

“…The results of an in vivo anti-inflammatory activity study showed that GA elastic vesicles had a significant reduction in ear thickness and mass (25.52 and 49.23%) ( p   <  0.05) as compared with a positive control group (triamcinolone acetonide and econazole nitrate cream in the market)[77]CatechinAntioxidentVeregen®In this study were compared catechin-loaded conventional liposomal, deformable conventional liposomal, and deformable liposomes prepared by the reverse-phase evaporation (REV) methodL-α-phosphatidylcholine, cholesterol, sodiumdeoxycholateResults suggested that all liposomal formulations exhibited a prolonged catechin release. “…
