“…In terms of non-target effects, in standard laboratory conditions the predation efficiency of Danio rerio zebrafishes was tested, obtaining 68.8% and 61.6% against I and II instar larvae of A. stephensi, respectively. However, when chitosan-nanoparticles were added to the environment ( Murugan et al, 2016b , Murugan et al, 2017a , Murugan et al, 2017b , Murugan et al, 2017c ), fish predation was boosted to 89.5% and 77.3%, respectively.
