Nanoparticle-Based Formulations of Tolperisone and Acetaminophen for Enhanced Pain Management: Preparation, Evaluation, and Application Using Multifaceted Approaches

Abstract

Nanotechnology has revolutionized drug delivery systems, offering enhanced therapeutic efficiency and reduced side effects. This study focuses on the preparation, evaluation, and application of nanoparticles containing Tolperisone and Acetaminophen, aimed at optimizing pain management strategies. Evaluation of the prepared nanoparticles involved assessing drug loading, encapsulation efficiency, in vitro drug release, and stability. The efficacy of these nanoparticles in pain management was investigated through in vitro and in vivo studies. Cellular uptake and cytotoxicity assessments were conducted using relevant cell lines to elucidate the potential of the nanoparticles for targeted drug delivery. The results demonstrated that the developed nanoparticles exhibited efficient drug encapsulation, sustained drug release, and improved cellular uptake compared to conventional drug formulations.
