Naphthalimide‐Benzothiazole Conjugate: A Dosimetric Probe for Colorimetric and Fluorometric Detection of Palladium

Abstract: A naphthalimide‐benzothiazole conjugate 1 as a dosimetric probe has been designed and synthesized. The probe is sensitive to palladium species over a series of other metals in CH3CN‐HEPES buffer [4 : 1 v/v, pH 7.2, 10 mM, NaBH4 (10 mM), PPh3 (10 mM)] and reports the detection both by color and emission changes.
