“…The unstained renal section (6 µm of thickness) of all experimental groups was analyzed through indirect immunofluorescence. 27 Briefly, the sections were deparaffinized and hydrated in graded ethanol, followed by blocking (0.3% hydrogen peroxide) for 20 minutes to mask the endogenous peroxidase activity. A microwave oven was used to retrieve the antigen using citrate buffer (10 mM, pH 6.0) at temperatures ranging between 95°C and 98°C for 15 minutes, and then the section was further blocked with BSA (5%) for 30 minutes at 37°C.…”

“…Also, NIN gets converted to naringenin, which has been shown to impart health‐promoting properties like including anti‐inflammatory and antioxidant activities . A number of reports advocate the ability of NIN to exert its antioxidant and cytoprotective property via activating Nrf2, which aids in the activation of various antioxidants such as GSH, Glutathione S‐transferase (GST) and downstream molecules that help in ameliorating against oxidative stress . Hence, we put forward that plant‐derived polyphenolic compounds will help in reducing the adverse effects of cadmium‐mediated hepatotoxicity.…”
