“…A lacuna in knowledge exists regarding how POs and other case management staff navigate competing objectives while responding to parolees' mental‐health needs. In case management, the working orientations of POs can affect parolee release outcomes, including parole revocations (e.g., Morash, Kashy, et al, 2019; Morash, Stone, et al, 2020; Roddy et al, 2019; Smith, Morash, Walling, & Adams, 2020).
