Abstract:Laser-driven magnetic reconnection (LDMR) is an important research topic in the field of high-energy-density physics, such as laboratory astrophysics. In this study, the narrow bandwidth spontaneous light imaging (SLI) technique at the extreme ultraviolet (EUV) band is introduced to detect magnetic reconnection and the jets produced by LDMR. The EUV-based SLI technique will provide reference values for the verification of the results obtained with traditional methods.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
