Abstract:In recent decades, intranasal drug delivery has shown great promise in various fields of medical practice. Drug delivery via the nasal route offers a number of advantages, such as possibility of needle‐free treatment, rapid onset of action, and high bioavailability. This article describes delivery and absorption of drugs by the nasal route and appreciates the factors that may affect it.
