Abstract:Context: Malignant melanoma of the mucous membranes of the nasopharynx is extremely rare. Despite improved diagnostic capabilities, these lesions are often diagnosed at an advanced stage and the prognosis is poor, in part related to the high rate of recurrence and metastasis.
