National Cancer Mortality-to-Incidence Ratio (MIR) in Iran (2005 - 2014)

Abstract: Background: Cancer is the first cause of death followed by ischemic heart disease (IHD) and stroke, worldwide, with increasing 19.5% years of life lost (YLL) due to cancer from 2007 to 2017. The cancer burden is steadily increased with decreasing 4.4% death rate from 2007-2017.
