National plans to ensure the rights of persons with disabilities in Kazakhstan—amendments to the legislation

Abstract: The signing and ratification of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities by the Republic of Kazakhstan require amendments to the state legislation in order to comply with the norms of this international document. This article shows how Kazakhstan's legislation largely complies with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
