Abstract:Tracking of manually defined natural landmarks in image sequences is a crucial task. The chosen landmarks are usually not related to "good features" in the sense of tracking methods. Thus, established tracking methods do not achieve accurate trajectories. Hence, in this contribution, a triangle-based optical flow approach is presented to stabilize the tracking of landmarks, which avoids drifting of the tracked landmarks. Triangulation is performed based on a defined ROI resulting in a mesh of triangles with un… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
