Abstract:This qualitative study explores Filipino deans' perceptions of strategic decision-making (SDM), utilizing interviews, FGD, and reflective essays. Six dimensions of SDM are identified, including foresight, tacit knowledge, political activity, collegiality, assessment of alternatives, and long-term planning.
