Emotional intelligence (EI), defined as the ability to recognize, understand, and manage one's emotions and those of others, is an essential competency for entrepreneurs, influencing both their personal well-being and the health of the workplace they create. Entrepreneurship is often marked by volatility, stress, and emotional highs and lows, making EI a vital tool for navigating these challenges. This chapter explores how EI can contribute to mental peace, create healthy work environments, and foster emotional well-being among entrepreneurs. It also emphasizes the importance of EI in moving and handling procedures, a critical aspect in healthcare industries that entrepreneurs can learn from to promote physical and emotional health in their teams. Finally, the chapter ties these findings to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), highlighting how EI interventions can support broader global well-being objectives.

The rapid integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into healthcare presents transformative opportunities, particularly in the field of geriatric care. This chapter explores how AI-driven insights can enhance physical and mental health outcomes for older adults through integrative medicine approaches such as homeopathy, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), naturopathy, and other complementary therapies. The growing global population of older adults faces unique health challenges, requiring tailored interventions that address both physical and emotional well-being. Emotional intelligence (EI) in nursing plays a critical role in facilitating holistic, patient-centred care that is informed by AI technologies. By leveraging AI in clinical decision-making, predictive analytics, and patient monitoring, healthcare providers can offer personalised interventions that encompass the best practices of integrative medicine and evidence-based strategies and also discusses the ethical implications and how can support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals.

As the global population ages, ensuring the emotional well-being of older adults is a critical aspect of healthcare systems. Emotional well-being is deeply intertwined with physical and mental health, particularly in older adults facing complex health challenges such as falls, nutritional deficiencies, chronic conditions like cancer and chronic kidney disease (CKD), and mental health concerns such as loneliness. In this chapter, we explore how artificial intelligence (AI) can enhance emotional well-being by promoting emotional intelligence (EI) and improving mental health outcomes for older adults. The discussion integrates key aspects of health, including falls prevention, nutrition, hydration, vitamin B12 deficiency, ageing in place, loneliness, cancer care, pharmacokinetics, and moving and handling. We examine the transformative potential of AI technologies in addressing these issues, offering real-time personalized care and interventions. By incorporating AI into elder care, we can create holistic systems that support emotional, mental, and physical health.
