This literature review navigates the complex interplay between COVID-19 infection and cardiovascular risks in children. Amidst the global pandemic, concerns about potential lasting impacts on youthful heart health have risen. The synthesis of current research examines the pathways through which COVID-19 may contribute to cardiac issues in pediatric patients, probing inflammation, immune responses, and direct viral effects on the cardiovascular system. Additionally, it scrutinizes data on myocarditis and thrombosis occurrences in pediatric COVID-19 cases, delving into risk factors, diagnostic methods, and treatment approaches.
