Navigational Improvements Through the Use of Maneuvering Propulsion Devices

Abstract: it is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain navigational control of large ships when they are maneuvering at low speeds. These difficulties stem from the pressures of increased channel traffic, the desire to reduce transit time, and the increasing physical dimensions of ships in relation to their waterways.
