Abstract: BackgroundSince its inception, the Neodymium‐doped yttrium aluminum garnet (Nd:YAG) 1064‐nm laser has been widely used for the treatment of hair removal. Selective photothermolysis forms the basis of its function. Without harming the skin, the laser damages the hair follicle, offering safety and potentially positive outcomes.
