Necessity of transnasal gastroscopy in routine diagnostics: a patient-centred requirement analysis

Abstract: IntroductionNumerous indications require regular upper gastrointestinal endoscopy (oesophagogastroduodenoscopy; EGD) in outpatients. In most cases, peroral gastroscopy is performed.
