Abstract: Necrobiosis lipoidica (NL) is an idiopathic chronic granulomatous skin condition. There is currently no standardized effective treatment of NL. Ulceration occurs in up to 35% of cases. Treatment of ulcerative lesions is challenging and often unsuccessful.
