Abstract:Immunocompromised patients with hematologic diseases may experience life-threatening infections with rather uncommon manifestations. Laryngitis has been described as a potential infection in such vulnerable patients and may result in major complications, ranging from impending airway obstruction to total laryngeal necrosis.
