Negative Pressures in Modelling Rotating Polymer Processing Machinery Are Meaningless, But They Are Telling Something

Abstract: In the technical literature, some authors have reported calculation of negative pressures in simulations of twin screw extrusion and other types of processing, without giving any explanations.
