Abstract: Approximately 60% of human infectious diseases are zoonotic. Many of these zoonotic diseases are endemic in developing countries, adversely impacting people’s health and livelihood. Most of these endemic zoonoses are neglected because they affect explicitly the socioeconomically poor communities.
