Abstract: In this work, we are exploring the collective thermoplasmonic properties of small spherical gold nanoparticles embedded into poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (pNIPAM) films, with a focus on their application as efficient light-driven nanoheaters for smart soft actuation systems.
