Neolithische Wirtschaft und Umwelt im Lichte archäozoologischer Analysen

Abstract: Archäozoologische Analysen tragen in erheblichem Maße zum Verständnis der Wirtschaftsweise einer Siedlung bei. Im Neolithikum Deutschlands, Österreichs und der Schweiz herrschte üblicherweise die Haustierhaltung vor, wobei das Rind als Hauptfleischlieferant diente. Allerdings gibt es auch Siedlungen, in deren Tierknocheninventaren die Wildtiere eindeutig überwiegen.
