Abstract:The frequency of detection of stromal gastrointestinal tumors in children and adolescents is about 0.4% of the total number of diagnosed GISTs. These tumors can occur throughout the gastrointestinal tract. During the instrumental research, misinterpretation of tumor origin is possible.
