Abstract:Background: To report on the safety and efficacy of intravitreal injections of triamcinolone acetonide in a patient with diabetic macular edema in the right eye and pseudoexfoliative glaucoma complicated by iris neovessels in the left eye.Case presentation: Two intravitreal injections of triamcinolone acetonide were given (one per eye) in a 75 year-old caucasian male with macular edema in the right eye and neovascular glaucoma in the left eye.
