“…53 In general, it is just ulnar nerve that is most usually damaged in supracondylar humerus fractures. 54 We found 18 patients with iatrogenic nerve injury (3.2%), and such an incidence is in line with previously reported incidence (3-4%). 31,55 In the study population, the lateral entry prevented from iatrogenic nerve injury (5.9% in lateral pinning vs. 9.0% in two-sided pinning), which supports the superiority of lateral pinning over medial and lateral pinning.…”

“…These techniques may be implemented in cases managed operatively or conservatively. [1][2][3][4]7,15,17,[25][26][27] As previously mentioned, a priority of any BP surgical reconstruction or rehabilitation program is elbow flexion.…”

“…If the appropriate Baumann's angle is not achieved, the reduction maneuver is repeated with extra valgus pressure. If the vascular injury is not improved after the initial closed reduction and splinting, the open method must be considered as well, especially in case of open fractures, severe elbow inflammation, and vascular injury (1,(14)(15)(16). Gartland type III fractures In all Gartland type IV fractures; 8.…”
