Network high-performance grinding devices for ferromagnetic materials

Abstract: The design features of the grinding devices that implement the impact destruction of the ferromagnetic materials particles in a magneto vibrating layer formed in a non-uniform magnetic field are considered. It is shown that when a magnetizable powder is affected by an alternating magnetic field with certain parameters, a magneto vibrating layer is formed, under the conditions of which, a random perturbing factor occurs. It is caused by the dipole particles clusters interactions and provides highefficient finis… Show more

“…If it is remembered that that the particles of ferromagnetic material are spheres, whose masses are equal to the mass of the particles, then the degree of grinding is set as the ratio of the diameters of the initial particle and the particle after collision. As the results of the experiment show [3,6,7,9], the degree of grinding differs from unity in the third, fourth decimal place. Therefore, it can be assumed that small amount is separated from the particle by a single act of collision.…”

“…Direct field electromagnets work cyclically for movement of a portion of the pseudoboiling magnetic fraction along the camera to a final mouth (7). With the entry of slimes in the camera (3), due to the gravity forces of the electromagnetic field of a direct magnet induced in the camera, slimes are being pulled to the area where the magneto-vibrating layer (MVL) is created, therefore there is a process of intensive pseudoboiling of slimes takes place during which an abrasive falls on the bottom of the camera and afterwards is removed by a conveyor belt on the unloading [12][13][14].…”
