“…Esse é o caso dos algoritmos abordados neste estudo: vizinho mais próximo (Nearest-Neighbor), algoritmo de economias (Savings Heuristics) e heurística de inserção (insertion heuristic), que são métodos para a solução do VRPTW (Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Windows), sugeridos por Solomon (1987) a partir da adaptação de suas versões originais. Embora autores como Chen et al (2019), Mohammed et al (2017) e Ombuki et al (2006) descrevem algoritmos mais sofisticados para resolver situações específicas, este trabalho utiliza das heurísticas de Solomon (1987) devido a simplicidade de implementação computacional e devido o objetivo do trabalho ser de validar indicadores logísticos para avaliar planos de rotas no problema VRPTW. O objetivo do trabalho se deve ao fato de, como afirma Silva Júnior (2013) e Ge et al (2020), a existência dos mais diversos métodos possibilita a obtenção de resultados que minimizem a utilização de recursos específicos dentro da cadeia de suprimentos, como a quantidade de veículos utilizada ou mesmo a distância total percorrida, todavia, o mesmo pode gerar uma rota com menor agilidade de atendimento.…”
