Abstract:Neurodegenerative diseases increase in prevalence with aging. This chapter begins with a discussion of Parkinson’s disease. Optimally individualized treatment includes dopaminergic medications, physiotherapy, and multidisciplinary care. Evidence for integrative approaches is limited.
