Abstract:BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES:Hepatitis C is an infectious disease affecting approximately 170 million people worldwide. In addition to the liver disease, the virus causes extra-liver manifestations, such as peripheral neuropathy and essential mixed cryoglobulinemia.
