Abstract: Neuroacanthocytosis -phenotypically and genetically heterogeneous disorders associated with acanthocytosis -are a group of abnormalities which affect the basal ganglion, causing movement disorders, other neurological symptoms and also cognitive and neuropsychiatric impairments.
