Other authors mention a preponderance in numbers of gliomas -and of glioblastoma multiforme in particular -among tumor patients admitted to a psychiatric ward [Guvener et al, 1964;Selecki, 1965;Abraham et al, 1972;Williams et al, 1974;Chodkiewicz et al, 1980]. The intracerebral growth, surrounding edema, and fast rate of progression might be responsible for prominent and/or early psychic dysfunction.…”
