“…With respect to the popular orthorhombic TiNiSitype (Pnma), there is splitting of the uranium position into two positions. This results in two different values of moments at the two U sites yielding below T N = 50 K a unique, cycloid-type, magnetic arrangement, incommensurate with the crystal lattice [1]. At T N for the directions i||a and c axes an increase in the resistivity was observed [2], which can be connected with a change in the Brillouin zone and, as a consequence, the pseudogap opens in the conduction-electron band along these two directions.…”
