Neutron to proton ratio dependence of energy of vanishing flow: role of system size and collision geometry

Abstract: Abstract.We study the effects of system size on the neutron to proton ratio dependence of the energy of vanishing flow for isotopic series of various colliding nuclei. We find a significant effect of the nuclear symmetry energy on the neutron to proton ratio dependence of the energy of vanishing flow throughout the mass range for central as well as peripheral collisions.
