“…Similar behavior has been observed for the electroreduction of inclusive complexes of RB with cyclodextrines on mercury [48,49] and GC [43] electrodes whereby their reduction potentials shift, resulting in a lower E [48,49] and reduced heights, i.e., the I of the peaks decreases [43] with respect to RB. We have previously observed the considerable differences in electrochemical behavior between initial forms of depolarizers and those encapsulated into such copolymers, e.g., for the cases of zinc tetraphenylporphyrinate [51,52] and various complexes of Pt(IV) [53,54]. Thus, the experimental data indicate the interaction of RB molecules with a VP copolymer.…”

“…Unlike traditional PVP, they are characterized by: (i) amphiphilicity, which is easy to control due to the monomer composition and the comonomer nature; (ii) the ability of copolymers of some composition to respond to external conditions (temperature and pH); (iii) the ability of hydrolysis in acidic and alkaline media along C-O bonds of dimethacrylate units; (iv) sufficiently small size of individual macromolecules and their aggregates in water will facilitate their efficient cellular and tissue uptake. Nanosized systems of metformin as a wellknown antidiabetic agent [43], lipophilic organic complexes of platinum(IV) with antitumor activity [44,45] and zinc tetraphenylporphyrinate as a means of intracellular accumulation visualizing [42] were obtained on their basis. The high biocompatibility of polymer carriers and their ability to penetrate into HeLa cells have been demonstrated in vitro, which indicates that the developed delivery materials are promising for the intracellular delivery of BAC.…”
