New approach to analyze the band structure characteristics of one-dimensional photonic system

Abstract: In this paper, we employ three dimensionless system parameters, induced by the contrast of the wave vector, geometric size, and wave impedance of two materials, to analyze the band structure characteristics of a one-dimensional photonic system.
