Abstract:This review discusses terminology recently proposed for the classification of dementia and, more specifically, nosology related to aging-associated TDP-43 pathology: limbic-predominant age-related TDP-43 encephalopathy (LATE), and limbic-predominant amnestic neurodegenerative syndrome (LANS).
