“…The extant samples of caribou (Rangifer tarandus) come from various locations in Canada (Fig. 1 (Behre & van der Plicht 1992); Brown Bank in the North Sea, which dates range from c. 45 to 34 ka BP (Mol et al 2006); Kent's Cavern (Torquay, UK) dated to 47AE3 ka BP (Lundberg & McFarlane 2007); Portel-Ouest (Loubens, France)the sample comes from level F dated to about 45 ka BP (Bahain 2007); Caune de l'Arago (Tautavel, France)the samples come from two stratigraphical units, namely CM2 dated to c. 500 ka and CM3 dated to 438AE31 ka BP (Falgu eres et al 2015).
