New insights into antimalarial chemopreventive activity of antifolates

Abstract: Antifolates targeting dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR) are antimalarial compounds that have long been used for malaria treatment and chemoprevention (inhibition of infection from mosquitoes to humans).
