Abstract:Recently, vanadium oxides and other semiconductor materials have been intensively studied to use them as nonplasmonic substrates for surfaceenhanced Raman scattering (SERS) spectroscopy due to their advantages such as greater uniformity, stability, and spectral reproducibility compared to plasmonic ones. The combination of vanadium pentoxide nanoparticles (V 2 O 5 NPs) with nanostructures of noble metals has shown considerable promise for enhancing the SERS signal, while maintaining the aforementioned advantag… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
