Abstract:Dysregulation of the Renin Angiotensin System (RAS), and its cognate receptor, the angiotensin (AngII) type 1 receptor (AT1R), has been implicated in the pathogenesis of several cardiovascular disorders including hypertension, fibrosis, congestive heart failure and stroke.
