New Mineral Names: Hydrous Minerals

Abstract: In this issue of New Mineral Names, a thematic approach is used to help provide context for advances and discoveries in mineralogy. There have been many new minerals described within the last year that have important H2O-OH groups within the crystal structure and/or have been formed by hydrothermal processes.
