New Organic Conductors and Superconductors Based on Dihydro-TTF (DHTTF) Donors

Abstract: The synthesis of dihydrotetrathiafulvalene (DHTTF) donors and the preparation of their charge-transfer (CT) salts have been undertaken to develop new organic metals and superconductors. The molecular structures of methylenedithio-DHTTF (MDHT), 1,4-dioxane-2,3-diyldithio-DHTTF (DODHT), and methylmethylidenedithio-DHTTF (Me-MDHT) are secured by X-ray crystallographic analyses.
