New postcranial remains of ground sloths (Xenarthra, Folivora, Mylodontidae) from Southern Brazil

Abstract: Diagnoses of Mylodontidae species are generally based on skull, mandibular, and tooth characteristics, and rarely on postcranial morphology, due to the lack of postcranial material associated with the cranial material.
