New record of a butterfly, common lascar, Pantoporia hordonia (Stoll, [1790]), (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae) form Punjab, India

Abstract:Recently, while conducting surveys in Ranjit Sagar Conservation Reserve situated in the Shivalik foot hills of Punjab, a butterfly, Common Lascar, Pantoporia hordonia (Stoll, [1970]) (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae: Limenitidinae) was recorded at Salari Village, of the Conservation Reserve, at an altitude of 571m ASL for the first time and the species is a new addition to the Butterflies of Punjab.
