New records of lignicolous fungi deteriorating wood in India

Abstract: . Aurificaria indica var. leucocephala var. nov, and Microporus affinis var. glabriceps var. nov. are described and four species, Fomitopsis cupreorosea, Ganoderma curtisii, Microporus alboater and Phellinus shaferi are new reports for India. These six taxa are described and illustrated in this paper.
