Abstract:We report on new occurrence records of Lophostoma brasiliense Peters, 1867 (Chiroptera, Phyllostomidae) from the states of São Paulo and Mato Grosso do Sul, southeastern Brazil. Specimens from São Paulo were mist-netted in an area originally covered by the Atlantic Forest and Cerrado ecosystems of which only small and isolated fragments remain, while the specimens from Mato Grosso do Sul came from a well-preserved Cerrado area.
